What's Up With the New Wibiya Toolbar?

You may have noticed a new Wibiya toolbar across the bottom of our web pages. We’re hoping it makes it easier for you to have more control over your visit and your interaction with our site. It will allow you to share anything you see here of value with your various social networks. Don’t have a social network? Just go to the far right of the bar and click on the two little down arrows…poof! it goes away. Want it back?…click on the arrows that are now up arrows and you get it back.

Using the Wibya Bar

Right now we have limited what you can do with it since we didn’t want to overwhelm some visitors. We can add features if enough of you say you want them. Just put your requests in the comment area below.

Going across the bar you can hover over each area or icon and it will tell what it can do. Some are pretty obvious without hovering, but at least you have that option if you aren’t sure.

This bar will allow you search from the area in the far left. If you want to view the page in another language you can do that with the next feature over from the search area. If you have a few seconds to burn it’s actually kind of cool to see what a page looks like in another language.

Next feature on the bar allows you to see our recent posts from our blog without having to switch to that page. Moving on across the bar you can ‘like’ what you see on the page you’re viewing and let your Facebook friends know about it. If you’re really geeky, or a nosy competitor, the next button allows you to view stats for our site. Since this Wibya bar is very new you won’t find much info at all right now.

OK, keep moving along the bar…the next button allows you to subscribe to our blog posts; and the one next to it allows you to share the page/blog post you are viewing. And, of course, what would any self-respecting social media tool be without links to our Facebook page and our Twitter feed. Lastly, you can join in a chat with anyone else who happens to be online at the same time you are. Who knows? You might make a new friend right here on our site. Sorry, I don’t do weddings…if it goes that well you’ll have to leave the site.
